TRIVIA: Jason Whiton was inspired by lo-fi experimental films to create a tribute piece for Yoko Ono based on her name, which means 'ocean child' in Japanese. The film was shot on iPhone at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California and features Whiton's signature black & white/toned photography as seen in the award-winning film, I Was a Dancer, and in his John Lennon college, Lennon70. Whiton found that Ono's lyrics resonated with a poetic suggestion of life and peace, and worked to weave a two-minute film experience that brings dignity to our fellow creatures. Special thanks to Yoko Ono and Jonas Herbsman.
